Smart Fart!

Here's a cute video of Liam counting to three in order to have a piggy back ride. I have to start him out with "one" and he follows with "two" and "three". Super cute and super smart!

Visitors in the Night

When we stepped out the door to go to church this morning we noticed that we had had some visitors in our backyard over night! These footprints gave it away...

It appears deer have been by to eat the compost we have been throwing out onto our garden. I certainly never thought I'd have deer in my backyard living in town. But, I think the idea of nighttime visits from deer is charming. (Of course we'll see if they keep up this habit once my garden is planted. I might not be so amused then!)

I wish I had been awake to see them all! Deer are beautiful to see up close - all that's left of their visit are their footprints and tongue marks in the snow. There's plenty of compost to come, so I'm sure they'll be back for more as the winter goes on!

My Little Man

Liam thinks his dad is the coolest guy in the world. As soon as Nialle comes in the door from work, Liam yells "HI!" and gives his daddy a big hug.

Liam, Joel and Josiah are the Three Musketeers! Joel and Josiah teach Liam lots of important things like how to play with trucks and how to jump on grandma's couch. Today they took Liam out on the farm and showed him the calves.

In these pictures, the boys are in their Christmas pajamas...look out ladies, in 20 years these fellas are going to be the hunkiest bachelors in Leduc!

This is a picture that we will definitely have to save for Liam's wedding. (payback for all those dirty diapers I've had to change!)

Liam's latest fascination is trains. He's glued to his Thomas the Train book and takes it to bed with him most nights. Liam tries his best to say, "Choo-Choo" but it comes out sounding more like "Foo-Foo".

This isn't the greatest picture because the cat got in the way and because Liam wouldn't sit still, but we made Liam a "throne" last week out of his mega-blocks. The chair suits His Majesty! (Nialle also made a cage out of mega blocks for Liam's stuffed Panda. That proved to be a real hit as well).

Well, the cool dude is letting me know it's time to go and play! Just like his trains, Liam goes "full steam ahead" all day! Choo-Choo!
