All in (Another) Hard Day's Work

Operation Lawn continues to move full-steam ahead.

Today I had the help of my mom, dad, and brothers and we piled up all the branches we'd collected over the past month, raked the lawn and continued to bust sod for my garden!

Of course, you need to take a break and enjoy some fruit with whipped cream and coconut to replenish all those calories you burned!

Liam certainly found Uncle Nethanel to have a comfy lap!

I know how backbreaking tearing up old sod is from putting in our garden in Calmar. Although when we did it I was 9 months pregnant with Levi and I just watched everyone else bust their hiney's. (whew, I sure timed that one right!)

(really wondering about spelling the plural possessive or "hiney")

arlene, you should not have used an apostrophe - there is nothing belonging to the hineys.

ness: good for you guys! You will really appreciate your yard after all this effort!

Hi Vanessa (and Nialle and Liam!) I am a cousin of the Hutchies and just had to check out pictures of your little guy! He is a month younger than our cutie, Luca. It is neat to see what he is doing...a lot of your stories are similar to things that I would see Luca doing. Feel free to mosey on over to our blog and have a peek if you want.

I glanced at your archived posts...first , let me say that you are a very intriguing writer- I love the way you describe some things! (Must be the teacher in you! FYI, I'm also a teacher, but prefer the science/math aspect to the Language).

I think that we would get alomg great! We bought an older house about a year and a half ago and had lots of claening up around to do, including lots of junk that was left behind. So, I feel for you!

As you are addcited to knitting (adorable sweater, by the way) I am addicted to quilting. Like oyu said...just one more block before I go to bed...I'll just skip lunch so I can keep sewing...oh ,man! I have to pee? But, then I hae to stop! Haha!

Hope you don't mind me snooping around and leaving a lengthy comment!

Everyone can come over and have some fresh veggies...as long as you promise to do some weeding too!
